Our client is a growing business services organization seeking support for an active AR cleanup project.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Entry Level Accounting Professional to join a team supporting an accounts receivable cleanup project. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience with the AR process, exposure to a large, complex environment, and strong potential to convert to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation and cleanup across multiple systems

Support aging analysis and identify discrepancies across customer accounts

Perform data scrubbing and validation to ensure accuracy of financial records

Assist with cash application and payment posting as needed

Collaborate with team members to research and resolve outstanding/aged AR items

Support month-end close activities including reconciliations and reporting

Maintain organized documentation and tracking of cleanup progress

Perform other accounting support duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

0-2 years of accounting or finance experience (internship experience considered)

Comfortable with frequent outreach to clients and troubleshooting client issues/requests

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

Comfortable working with large volumes of data and ambiguity

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Prior exposure to AR, reconciliations, or ERP systems is a plus
