Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation facility in Ashburn, VA, which features advanced therapeutic equipment and amenities designed to facilitate patient recovery. The clinic is a collaborative space where therapists regularly exchange ideas and strategies. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to meet the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, giving sufficient attention to facilitate effective recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and innovative therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and decrease pain.
• Educate patients on the importance of non-surgical treatment options and lifestyle modifications.
• Design and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, and endurance.
• Employ EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and dietitians, to provide a well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Motivate patients through encouragement and support, fostering a positive environment during their recovery journey.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress to meet all regulatory and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will enable you to cater to patients of all ages, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall health. Emphasis will be placed on developing personalized care plans that respect each client's unique aspirations and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active physical therapist license within the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective therapeutic exercise programs.
• Strong knowledge of current research and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Ability to leverage EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation and care tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in customizing treatment plans and implementing innovative therapy strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
