Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist is primarily onsite at our outpatient office, where you will engage with patients in a welcoming and advanced therapeutic setting. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing you to implement innovative treatment modalities and cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients to determine mobility, pain levels, strength, and overall functionality.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and the specific goals of each patient.
• Conduct evidence-based therapy sessions aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating discomfort, and preventing injuries, employing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Instruct patients, their families, and caregivers on appropriate therapeutic techniques and at-home exercise regimens to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses and occupational therapists, to create integrated care plans that address the full spectrum of patient needs.
• Maintain compliant and accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatment progress in accordance with Medicare and state regulatory standards.
• Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that respects the dignity and enhances the quality of life for all individuals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will play a critical role in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journeys, with a focus on helping them achieve independence and confidence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, DPT preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required; must be obtained if not held at hire.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively relate to diverse patient populations.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple patient cases concurrently.
• Willingness and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly within outpatient or assisted living environments.
• Prior experience in geriatrics or long-term care is advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to specific patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
