Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop tailored treatment plans that take their unique goals and medical histories into account.
• Manage a balanced caseload, ensuring dedicated one-on-one sessions that maximize patient engagement and recovery.
• Provide expert care in orthopedic rehabilitation, utilizing evidence-based practices and contemporary physical therapy techniques.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aiming to enhance patients' functional mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and other techniques designed to promote recovery.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, offering encouragement and constructive feedback to enhance their progress.
• Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal care delivery.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient wellness and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients requiring outpatient care, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with a pristine record, free from sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and contemporary physical therapy methodologies.
• Strong aptitude for designing and implementing personalized exercise protocols to facilitate patient rehabilitation.
• Experience using EMR systems like Web PT for accurate and efficient patient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy practices informed by the latest research and advancements in the field.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic or home care setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities can enhance treatment effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
