Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position is for a skilled Registered Nurse in a mixed-acuity unit, focusing on progressive care. The role involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients with various chronic medical conditions.

Unit Overview

• Stepdown/PCU mixed-acuity unit.
• Support for both PCU and Med/Surg patients.
• Core staff will assist with the care of PCU-level patients.

Shift Details

• 36 hours per week, night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:30).
• Some weekend shifts required.
• Floating within the organization is required.
• On-call responsibilities may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• 1st-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with only 1 year of experience will require manager review.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.

Agency staff have several parking permit options available for purchase:

• WMC Agency Permit: Allows 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage with guaranteed availability.
• WB Permit: Budget option; offers weekend/holiday access to garages and shuttle service to the medical center.
• CXS Permit: Allows weekend/holiday access to select garages and surface lots.
