Materials Handler

SeaCa Plastic Packaging's Finishing Department is looking to add an experienced and dedicated Utility Material Handler to our team at our Surprise, AZ location. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who excels working in a demanding and fast paced environment and demonstrates excellent prioritization, decision making and time management skills. This is an assistant level position for work in a manufacturing environment. Training is provided to help you grow your career. You will be joining a crew of 3-9 people working as a team to accomplish the operating goals of the shift. Bonus pay can be earned as a member of the team that achieves their manufacturing goal. Forklift certification is a plus. Responsibilities Assist Finishing Operators & Assistant operators to ensure product movement. Ensure each machine has product available to continue production. Maintains equipment and forklifts by reporting maintenance needed to supervisor. Maintains housekeeping throughout the shift. Report damaged product and/or shortages to supervisor. Locate orders before start of run. Dumps garbage dumpsters. Assists other operators as necessary. Supplies sheet stock and pallets to machine centers to process orders. Additional duties may be assigned by management. Keeps area clean and organized. Performs similar job duties as required.
