Security Officer Access Badge Patrol – LOS ANGELES, CA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and security‑related policies at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other designated areas, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, vendor, and incident information in accordance with post procedures. Support emergency response activities, including following site instructions, assisting with controlled access, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity promptly. Minimum Requirements: The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
