Accounting Senior Specialist

Role Overview: Support North American consolidation, technical accounting, and financial reporting by preparing accurate financial statements, journal entries, and process improvements. Assist with IFRS and U.S. GAAP research, documentation, and ensure compliance across entities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and support financial close, consolidation activities, reporting, and reconciliations, maintaining SOX controls. Lead process, control, and reporting improvements; update manuals and reference materials. Manage projects, provide guidance to entities, coordinate IT implementations, and support audits and compliance efforts. Research and apply IFRS and U.S. GAAP; draft accounting memos and support documentation. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred. 8+ years in accounting, with public accounting experience strongly desired. Knowledge of automotive or manufacturing industry accounting preferred. Experience with financial close, consolidation, technical research, and audit support. Proficiency in IT tools, automation, and advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; ability to collaborate effectively.
