Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and current medications accurately to support clinical assessments.
• Prepare exam rooms, minor procedures such as X-rays or medication administration, and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
• Perform basic clinical tasks including taking patient histories, measuring height and weight, and assisting with physiology and anatomy-related assessments.
• Manage appointment scheduling, coordinate patient flow, and handle administrative duties
• Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions, procedures performed, and follow-up instructions to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or clinic environments is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding, and anatomy knowledge are essential.
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations including geriatrics and inpatient care.
• Experience supporting urgent care or hospital medicine teams will be considered an asset.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
