About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical ICU/IMC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience, with at least 2 previous travel assignments License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required; Critical Care Certification, Trauma Course, EPIC, and ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong Surgical ICU experience Description: The position requires an RN with a valid license. BLS certification is a requirement. Candidates should have strong experience in a Surgical ICU setting. Preferred qualifications include a Critical Care Certification, completion of a Trauma Course, and familiarity with EPIC and ACLS. The patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, gastrointestinal, orthopedics, spine, and oncology patients. The role includes floating to areas with similar skill sets as needed. Weekend coverage will be required for 3 out of 6 weekends on a 6-week schedule. Availability for 2 call shifts within the 6-week schedule is expected. Holiday shifts may also be required as needed.
