Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing services in a designated ICU. Manages acutely ill patients, monitors vital signs, and implements treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data.
• Assist with advanced procedures, including ventilator management and patient stabilization.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Valid and unexpired state RN license.
• Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to care for COVID-positive patients with appropriate safety protocols.
• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills.
• Flexibility to work block schedules with varied shift lengths, including 36/48-hour contracts.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
