Field Mechanic

Job Description Job Description MEMCO Houston currently hiring an experienced Field Mechanic to service and repair heavy equipment and CDL trucks in the field. This position requires someone who can diagnose problems quickly, work independently, and provide reliable service at customer and job site locations. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrains Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and commercial trucks Respond to roadside and job site service calls Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently Operate a service truck and maintain tools and parts inventory Complete service reports and communicate repair recommendations with customers and management Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally Equipment Worked On Excavators Loaders Dozers Skid steers Dump trucks Semi trucks Trailers Other heavy-duty diesel equipment Qualifications Experience working on heavy equipment and CDL trucks Strong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills Valid driver’s license required Ability to work independently in the field Must have own basic tools 2-3 years of experience #MEM-HOU Company Description MEMCO staffing was founded in 1996, we are not your everyday staffing agency, we place good people with a fitted client, 95% of your jobs are temp to perm, We take care of our clients as well as our employees.
