ServiceNow Nuvolo Developer

Location: Gaithersburg, MD
Work Arrangement: Primarily On-Site
Duration: 1 Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
After-Hours: Occasional after-hours support may be required

Position Overview

NIST is seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Nuvolo Developer to support the development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, upgrades, and production support of its Nuvolo environment.

This is a developer-focused position, not a standard ServiceNow Administrator role . The ideal candidate must have direct hands-on experience implementing and configuring Nuvolo on the ServiceNow platform , along with strong ServiceNow development, scripting, integrations, workflows, data migration, and enterprise asset/facilities management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize, configure, develop, and maintain Nuvolo applications on ServiceNow.
• Develop complex JavaScript and GlideScript solutions.
• Build and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Actions .
• Develop solutions supporting facilities data and enterprise asset lifecycles.
• Customize Service Portal components, forms, views, and portals using HTML/CSS .
• Configure ACLs, User Criteria, data separation, and support-group routing .
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations using REST and SOAP APIs .
• Build APIs connecting Nuvolo/ServiceNow with external enterprise systems.
• Develop ETL pipelines and use ServiceNow Import Sets for legacy asset data migration.
• Configure workflows for preventive maintenance, inventory, financial management, and facilities service requests.
• Support testing, deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Develop reports, operational metrics, gauges, and executive dashboards.
• Maintain technical, troubleshooting, and status documentation.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow/Nuvolo solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of ServiceNow application development and implementation experience.
• Direct hands-on Nuvolo implementation and configuration experience — REQUIRED.
• Strong ServiceNow development and scripting experience.
• Strong proficiency in:
