The Industrials team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join the platform. BGL’s growing Industrials team focuses on several key areas: Aerospace & Defense, Building Products, Diversified Industrials, Engineered Equipment, Industrial Technology, Metals and Mining, etc. This opportunity is open to our offices in Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL or New York, NY. Responsibilities: Support senior bankers in transaction execution and client management Lead day-to-day execution of transactions Manage deal team junior bankers and review their work product Leads development of key engagement marketing materials, including but not limited to: detailed financial and valuation models, memorandums and other transaction related materials. Assists with identification of potential investors, lenders, buyers, and acquisition targets Manage transaction execution timeline Supports with business development efforts Provides mentorship to junior banking team members Qualifications: Five or more years of experience focused on mergers and acquisitions investment banking, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense sector. Bachelor’s Degree required Strong sell-side M&A experience, as well as experience in buy-side and capital raising transactions FINRA Licenses 63 & 79 Proven track record of strong transaction execution including new business presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other related materials Excellent interpersonal skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic and organization skills Work Requirements: BGL is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer. $250,000 — $250,000 USD
