Job Overview A law firm seeks an Investment Funds Regulatory Associate in Washington, D.C. The role involves working within a leading regulatory practice, assisting fund sponsors with fundraising, transactions, and navigating SEC examination and enforcement matters. Responsibilities Review offering materials and fund governing documents. Advise clients on compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Prepare SEC filings and respond to examinations. Requirements 1-3 years of investment funds‑related regulatory experience at a global law firm. Strong familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Securities Act of 1933 preferred. Admission to practice in the District of Columbia. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the District of Columbia. Skills Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
