Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Our client is looking for an AR Supervisor/Manager to join their team! Responsible for the review and approval of new customers based upon thorough credit review, including credit reports Determines timing on submission of customer accounts to outside collections agency Responsible for the ongoing review, calculation and maintenance of the Bad Debt Reserves Develops and distributes customer AR collectability reports as assigned Responsible for overall collections financial performance Plan, organize, lead and control the activities of the group including the supervision of the staff, the staffing level and organization of the A/R team Responsible for lien process (NTO, releases – partial and full, lien filings, etc.) Evaluate credit worthiness of accounts and determine proper account order hold or releases Maintain a strong cross functional communication with Sales, Purchasing, and Management regarding identified account risks, potential credit problems, disputes and customer comments. Identify and elevate as necessary Generate reports for internal purposes and business unit leaders Annual goal setting and reviews for all direct reports Education/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Proven experience in managing a team and driving departmental performance. Knowledge Knowledge of accounts receivable Knowledge of general accounting procedures Proficient in data entry and management Experience SAP, Sage, Oracle or other large ERP system preferred Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
