If you're a litigation attorney who wants to build deep expertise defending hospitals, physicians, and healthcare systems, this opportunity offers the chance to handle sophisticated medical malpractice matters from inception through resolution, working closely with experienced partners in a culture built around mentorship and long-term growth.

The role offers a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote, with Mondays in-office to support collaboration and mentorship, plus compensation ranging from $100,000 for junior associates up to $200,000 for senior and Of Counsel roles, and a structured bonus program beginning at 1,950 billable hours.

 

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of medical malpractice defense experience preferred, required for mid-level and senior roles
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar at the time of interview
• Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and high-volume caseload management skills
• Backgrounds in District Attorney, general liability, or personal injury work also considered
• Experience representing hospitals, physicians, or healthcare systems a plus

 

The Role

• Defend hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers in malpractice matters
• Draft, review, and respond to discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Appear in court for conferences and hearings
• Draft and argue motions
• Perform legal and medical research
• Manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
