Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Maternal - Newborn Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position - TRAVEL - RN MOTHER BABY (661) 7:00PM - 7:00AM (1012893) Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 24 Number of Staff – 71 Type of staff: Day Shift – labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator Night Shift – labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary Patient Ratios – labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1 Type of equipment – GE fetal monitors EMR – Meditech, CPN Must have At least 2 years of labor experience Preferred or nice to have 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes List typical procedures performed on unit(s) Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification Dress Code Navy blue scrubs/ MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security Weekends and On call Every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule Application and testing from agency required to be submitted.
