DescriptionBusiness Development Officer - CPAColumbia, SCWe're looking for a Business Development Officer who enjoys building relationships, delivering presentations, and helping prospective clients find the right solutions.This is a client-facing role where you'll give presentations, meet with qualified prospects, and turn opportunities into new business. You'll have the support of a marketing team that schedules appointments and fills presentation events, allowing you to focus on building relationships and growing the firm's client base.What You'll DoDeliver business presentations approximately four times each month.Represent the firm at local business events, including occasional evening dinner seminars.Meet with 15–20 pre-scheduled prospective clients each week.Build trust through meaningful conversations and a consultative approach.Guide prospects through the decision-making process and confidently ask for the business.Partner with the marketing team to maximize new client opportunities.What We're Looking ForExperience in business development, sales, or relationship management.Comfortable presenting to groups and meeting one-on-one with prospective clients.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.A consultative sales approach with the confidence to close new business.Professional, self-motivated, and results-driven.Requirements• Current CPA license required.• Excellent verbal communication, presentation delivery, and interpersonal skills.• Comfortable working with leads, scheduled meetings, and performance expectations tied to conversion results.Job typePerm
