Make a lasting impact on students’ lives as a dedicated Physical Therapist supporting school-aged children from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time contract opportunity runs from November to February, covering an anticipated maternity leave with a consistent 37.5-hour work week. In this itinerant position, you’ll provide essential therapy services across multiple campuses, collaborating with educational teams to help students achieve their mobility and functional goals, all within a supportive school environment located near Garland, TX.

Key Qualifications:

• Active TX Physical Therapist license required
• Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
• Fingerprinting through the TEA required if not recently completed for a public school district (allow up to 7 days for processing)
• Must be able to submit references from your two most recent supervisors during application

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students K-12 with varying needs
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions in accordance with IEPs and school policies
• Travel between assigned campuses to provide seamless therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for student progress and compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as needed
