Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting team by ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting the month-end close process, and contributing to ongoing accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Process and review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and company policies. Assist with the month-end financial close process, including preparation and review of supporting documentation. Perform reconciliations and review financial data for reasonableness and accuracy. Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with document retention policies. Research transaction details and elevate discrepancies or issues to senior team members as appropriate. Support ad hoc projects and day-to-day accounting operations as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and efficient processes. Work as part of a team to meet departmental deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables. Qualifications Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of US GAAP and general ledger accounting, including journal entries. Core Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive financial information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of relevant accounting experience. Prior experience in consumer finance or auto finance is preferred. Location & Work Schedule Location: Hybrid role based in Glen Mills, PA.
