CPA Tax and Accounting Associate

Preston and Company, a family-owned CPA firm serving tax and consulting needs of small business and individuals since 1929, seeks Tax Associate/Staff Accountant with proven knowledge in accounting and finance. Opportunities for growth and advancement with direct guidance and supervision from managing partner of small firm. Must be self-starter with ability to work independently from our office in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Assist with engagements, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly/annual close Prepare individual, entity and payroll tax returns with advanced knowledge of tax law Provide professional, courteous client service Effectively complete responsibilities in a timely manner Support the firm with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications 1-4 years of experience in a professional accounting role; CPA or EA preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Excellent verbal communication abilities and effective business writing skills Experience with QuickBooks and Intuit Pro Series preferred.
