Initial Responsibilities About 30 hours per week to start, some flexibility in hours and days Manage day-to-day bookkeeping/accounting activities and reporting Use accounting software to generate spreadsheets and key financial reports Maintain accurate accounting records and documents Support payroll administration and related payroll functions as needed Address client and staff queries Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks connected to accounting operations Qualifications & Skills Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices Experience entering transactions into accounting software programs Familiarity with financial statement preparation and understanding of basic tax liabilities Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time constrictions Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients Analytical skills to identify errors or discrepancies Demonstrates strong leadership, verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities and ability to manage and oversee the company's daily activities, manage internal workflows, and improve organizational efficiency. Process Improvement: Streamline workflows and eliminate operational bottlenecks. Financial Oversight: Manage and monitor financial reporting. Data Analysis: Review performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide business strategy.
