Senior ServiceNow Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions, integrations, and workflow automations while ensuring platform stability, security, and performance .

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Senior ServiceNow Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, forms, catalog items, custom applications, and automation processes.
• Build and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows, and custom tables to support business requirements.
• Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, Jira, Azure DevOps, and other third-party platforms.
• Analyze requirements, assess platform dependencies and impacts, and ensure solutions align with ServiceNow architecture, governance, security, and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement sustainable fixes while supporting testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, stakeholders, and development teams to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions, perform code reviews, and drive continuous platform improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments, with expertise in solution design, integration, and platform customization.
• Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification with strong experience in Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and custom application development.
• Proven experience developing and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and third-party platforms, along with strong knowledge of CMDB, ServiceNow architecture, troubleshooting, and platform governance.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
