We are expanding our partnerships with senior care, healthcare, and community-based organizations throughout San Diego County and are looking for a motivated professional to help us establish new facility and organizational contracts . Position Summary We are seeking a results-driven Business Development & Partnerships Coordinator whose primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and secure B2B partnerships and contracts with senior care, healthcare, and community organizations throughout San Diego County. The primary focus of this role is developing relationships with organizations that can contract with Special Strong to provide adaptive fitness and wellness programs at their facilities or for the populations they serve. The ideal candidate is comfortable prospecting, visiting facilities, reaching decision-makers, presenting programs, coordinating demonstrations, negotiating opportunities, and consistently following up until a partnership agreement is established. Primary Responsibilities Partnership & Contract Development Identify organizations that could benefit from Special Strong's adaptive fitness and wellness programs. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective organizational partners. Contact and visit facilities throughout San Diego County. Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers, including Executive Directors, Administrators, Wellness Directors, Activities Directors, Program Directors, Clinical Directors, and other organizational leaders. Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective partners. Present Special Strong's programs, services, and organizational partnership options. Understand each organization's needs and identify appropriate partnership opportunities. Coordinate free demonstrations, presentations, and pilot programs when appropriate. Develop opportunities for ongoing facility-based adaptive fitness programs. Maintain consistent follow-up with decision-makers throughout the business development process. Work toward converting qualified opportunities into signed organizational partnership agreements and contracts . Maintain accurate records of prospects, meetings, follow-ups, demonstrations, proposals, and partnership status in the CRM. Provide weekly updates on outreach activity, partnership pipeline, and contract opportunities. Attend senior care, healthcare, disability-services, and community networking events when appropriate. Coordinate with Special Strong's operations and training teams after a partnership is secured to support successful program implementation. Target Organizations The primary focus will be developing contracts and partnerships with organizations such as: Senior Living Communities Assisted Living Facilities Memory Care Communities Dementia Care Programs Independent Living Communities Skilled Nursing Facilities Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs) Adult Day Programs & Adult Day Health Care Centers Senior Centers Home Health Organizations Rehabilitation Organizations Physical Therapy Clinics Occupational Therapy Clinics Neurology & Geriatric Practices Hospitals and Healthcare Organizations Disability-Service Organizations Other organizations serving seniors and individuals with neurological, developmental, or mobility challenges What Success Looks Like Success in this position is primarily measured by the development of new organizational partnerships and contracts , not individual client enrollments. Key performance indicators may include: Consistent outreach to new organizations and facilities Regular in-person facility visits Meetings secured with qualified decision-makers Organizational presentations and demonstrations completed Proposals and partnership opportunities generated Strong and active partnership pipeline Consistent professional follow-up New organizational contracts and partnership agreements signed Successful handoff of signed partnerships to the operations team Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has strong business development and relationship-building skills. Is confident approaching organizations and senior-level decision-makers. Is comfortable with prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and in-person facility visits. Can independently develop leads and create new partnership opportunities. Is persistent and comfortable with a longer B2B sales cycle requiring multiple follow-ups. Has strong presentation and communication skills. Is organized and able to manage multiple prospective partnerships simultaneously Is comfortable maintaining CRM records and reporting business development activity. Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Can travel throughout San Diego County. Preferred experience: Business development, B2B sales, healthcare sales, senior living, assisted living, home health, hospice, medical/healthcare partnerships, community outreach, or related fields. Existing relationships within the San Diego senior living or healthcare community are highly desirable. Compensation $22.00/hour ~ $25.00/hour Part-time, approximately 20-30 hours per week Mileage reimbursement/travel allowance for approved business travel Performance bonuses for new signed organizational contracts Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement into a Business Development Manager role as the partnership network grows Why Join Special Strong?
