Business Analyst

Full-time Description Chevo is hiring an experienced Capital Planning-Business Analyst Lead to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to leading Capital Planning & Investment Control (CPIC) and Portfolio Management support activities, managing and overseeing Capital Planning Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) identified in the Performance Work Statements (PWS) resource estimates. NOTE : This position is completely remote, staff supporting this contract may be located in the Kansas City and Washington DC metropolitan areas and/or surrounding areas. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary interface with federal Capital Planning leadership. Oversees development, maintenance, and quality of Business Cases (OMB300 equivalents), EVM reports, AAR submissions, and Investment Manager support. Ensure alignment with OMB guidance, IT governance processes, and Investment lifecycle activities. Manages Strategic Planning, Budget Formulation, Spend Planning, and Investment Re baselines. Requirements Required Qualifications: Completed Bachelor’s degree in related field 8+ years CPIC experience; strong knowledge of OMB A-11. Experience mentoring analysts and leading gate review preparation. Ability to understand the needs of the government customer, set priorities and provide appropriate direction to team to implement the identified resolution. Ability to determine course of action to resolve various Capital Planning issues in a fast paced, highly visible client organization. Familiarity with FBC business case structures and portfolio data call requirements.
