Title
RN - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule
- Shift Type: Days and Nights
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend plus holiday rotation

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week

Requirements
- Experience: 2 years clinical RN experience
- License: State-specific nursing license required
- Certifications: BLS (BCLS) and ACLS required; IV start and Telemetry competency
- Skills: Telemetry/remote monitoring, IV start/maintenance, dysrhythmia recognition/management, ABG interpretation, and wound care

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care to adult and geriatric patients in various medical units, including medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, and cardiology.
- Monitor patients' telemetry and vital signs, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in rapid response and code blue situations when needed.

Compliance / Notes
- Free parking available.
- Scrub Color: Navy blue.
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed the first week.
- Orientation: 36 hours required.
