Veterinary Specialty/ER Director of Operations 06-26

Curo Pet Care is looking for a highly experienced leader in the veterinary or broader medical/service industry to serve as its Director of Operations for Specialty and Emergency Hospitals on the West Coast. The role will center on the direct oversight and management of our existing Spec/ER hospitals in the region and the planning, construction and growth of new, state of the art referral centers in the region. We are a team of successful entrepreneurs and doctors using our own capital to improve the veterinary industry. Our practices have industry leading medical teams, state of the art equipment, dedicated support staff and loyal customers. They are highly profitable and well positioned for growth with strong support from the ownership team. The ideal candidate is a highly capable manager of a multi-site veterinary/medical/service operations with at least 7+ years experience. Deep expertise in all areas of HR, finance, marketing, facilities and medical program support are critical. While not required, a CVPM certification is a plus. Responsibilities Partnering hand-in-hand with the ownership team to develop and execute: Strategic planning Marketing Financial management Vendor relationships Day-to-day operational support of hospital level administrators: HR/team management Bookkeeping OSHA compliance Inventory Client experience Development and implementation of non-medical protocols, best practices and staff training Coordination and oversight of new, state of the art Spec/ER hospitals in the region Benefits Highly competitive salary ($110k to $155k+ based on experience) Bonus structures Potential for equity ownership Health insurance 401k Personal pet care discount Vacation and paid holidays The hospitals to be managed are located in the broader Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco areas.
