Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist
We are recruiting for a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Pennsauken, NJ. This position is benefit eligible.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for answering telephone calls and transferring to appropriate destinations.
- Responsible for greeting patients
- Responsible for collecting required documentation, copays, deductibles or payment of services prior to treatment and documenting transactions in EMR.
- Responsible for daily insurance verifications.
- Responsible for monitoring entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.
- Handle various clerical functions as assigned by Manager and/or Director.
- Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in clerical/healthcare environment preferred
- Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and patient's families
- Ability to function independently or under supervision as task requires
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Bilingual (Spanish)
SCHEDULE:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10am - 6pm
Tuesday: 11am - 7pm
Friday: 9am - 5pm
