We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as an Senior Accountant This position is a great opportunity to join an outstanding family owned organization and Accounting Team. As part of our accounting team, you will support the controller with day to day operations. The successful candidate should be highly efficient, dependable with strong problem solving skills, deadline oriented, great communication skills, and enjoy using their skill set to support the Controller, Accounting team and the organization as a whole. The ideal candidate would have well-rounded accounting experience and be able to help in all accounting areas.
Responsibilities
- Daily Cash Management and Daily Bank reconciliation
- Assist Controller with various special projects.
- assist with analysis of corporate accounting entities
- Create and review financial reports.
- Bank reconciliation
- Analysis of General Ledger Accounts.
- Filing City and State tax returns, 1099's, and Unclaimed funds.
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable support
- Preparing and maintaining company records.
- Assist with month end closings.
- Assist with year-end audits and compliations with outside accounting firm..
Qualifications
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· 2 plus years of Accounting Experience
· Outstanding communications skills
