Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards.
• Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and judgment.
• Implements care plans and evaluates progress toward patient outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing safe patient care.
• Contributes to discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
