\n \nThe Role
\nThe Production Planner optimizes production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource use, and alignment with customer demand. You will bridge the gap between sales, procurement, and operations—translating demand signals into executable floor plans.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Scheduling: Develop master production schedules (MPS), prioritize runs to minimize changeover time, and adjust plans in real time for downtime or material shortages. \n
- Materials & Inventory: Partner with procurement to ensure raw material availability, monitor MRP outputs, and manage inventory levels. \n
- Collaboration: Participate in weekly S&OP meetings and communicate schedule updates or constraints to leadership and customer service. \n
- Metrics: Track schedule adherence, on-time delivery (OTD), and support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Experience: 3–5 years of production planning or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. \n
- Systems: Required experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, SYSPRO, or similar) and high proficiency in Excel. \n
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or equivalent experience. \n
- Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, sharp attention to detail, and top-tier cross-functional communication skills. \n
- Bonus: APICS CPIM certification is a strong asset. \n
