Executive Sous Chef

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Executive Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. If you’re a natural leader with a love for Italian cuisine and a talent for mentoring others, this is your opportunity to shine in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen that delivers excellence every day. What You’ll Do: Lead and inspire a team of line and prep cooks, helping them grow into future culinary leaders. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring every dish meets Carmine’s high standards. Jump in wherever needed—expediting, purchasing, prepping, and more. Maintain quality, consistency, and taste while managing food costs. Train staff on recipes, portion control, sanitation, and kitchen best practices. Support a culture of excellence, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. What We’re Looking For: Prior experience as a Kitchen Manager or Lead Line Cook in a high-volume setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. Deep knowledge of food prep techniques and health department regulations. Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure. Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. Familiarity with restaurant financials, scheduling, and labor management. Proficient in basic computer skills. Open availability for various shifts.
