We are seeking a driven and highly organized Loss Mitigation Specialist to manage a portfolio of post-charge-off and deficiency balance accounts. This role works directly with borrowers to understand their circumstances, identify practical repayment solutions, and minimize losses while delivering a professional and respectful customer experience, in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage an assigned portfolio of post-charge-off and deficiency balance accounts 
• Re-establish and maintain communication with borrowers to identify effective account-resolution strategies 
• Build productive relationships with borrowers, helping them find realistic ways to meet financial obligations 
• Negotiate payoffs, settlements, and payment arrangements within established company guidelines 
• Use skip-tracing tools and resources to locate borrowers with missing or inaccurate contact information 
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of customer interactions, commitments, and account activity 
• Meet established productivity, recovery, and account-servicing goals without sacrificing service quality 
• Handle customer objections and rejection with confidence, professionalism, and a solutions-focused mindset 
• Follow all applicable company policies and state/federal requirements, including FDCPA and CFPB guidelines 
• Represent the company professionally and respectfully during every customer interaction
