Rise Up Restaurants is the corporate home of Pizza Patrón and one of the largest Wingstop franchisees in the country , operating more than 220 restaurant locations across multiple states. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in San Antonio, TX .

What You'll Do

As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records while supporting the month-end close process and daily accounting operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and posting GAAP-compliant journal entries
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Reconciling general ledger accounts
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Preparing and filing sales tax reports
• Supporting the Accounts Payable process
• Assisting with revenue reporting and financial analysis
• Supporting payroll functions (experience preferred)
• Researching discrepancies and resolving accounting issues
• Assisting with special projects and process improvements as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, including month-end close
• Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
