- Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)
- Hourly (for contract candidates): $25 - $33/hour
- Open to Direct Hire or Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities Month-End Close and Financial Reporting
- Support and execute the month-end close process
- Prepare and post journal entries (routine and non-routine)
- Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Conduct flux analysis
- Prepare and manage monthly accruals
- Manage prepaid schedules
- Complete cash reconciliations for assigned entities
- Maintain assigned balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules
- Prepare revenue, receivables, accrual, reclass, and eliminating journal entries
- Support intercompany accounting and eliminations
- Prepare audit support and internal schedules for annual reviews and external audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Document accounting processes and internal controls
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Assist with client-specific reporting or billing as needed
- Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects
- Maintain flexibility to meet business needs, including occasional overtime
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (Required - Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience with significant accounting responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with month-end close
- Experience with ERP accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must reside in San Antonio, TX
- Experience with Sage Intacct
