Staff Accountant

Job Details Job Location: Brame Holdings HQ - SAN ANTONIO, TX 78232 Brame Holdings is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accounting operations across a diversified portfolio that includes multi-unit restaurants, auto dealerships, and construction businesses. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accountant with experience in transaction-heavy, multi-entity environments who can support month-end close, reconciliations, and industry-specific accounting needs. Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities and cost centers. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Support monthly and year-end close processes Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and intercompany transactions Assist with financial reporting and management schedules Industry Exposure Restaurants: POS reconciliations, cash/tips, inventory & COGS, sales tax. Auto Dealerships: Vehicle inventory schedules, floor plan financing, commissions. Construction: Job cost accounting, WIP schedules, subcontractor payables. Support AP/AR processing and proper coding. Assist with audit support, 1099s, and compliance requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to. Restaurants / hospitality. Auto dealerships. Construction or job-cost environments. Strong GAAP knowledge. Experience with multi-entity accounting. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations). Experience with accounting systems (Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) Key Traits High attention to detail and accuracy.
