Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. This role is responsible for general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, fixed asset management, budgeting support, and maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities. Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure financial accuracy. Maintain fixed asset records and supporting documentation. Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets. Analyze financial variances and identify process improvement opportunities. Assist with documentation and support for tax filings. Document accounting procedures and maintain internal controls. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records across multiple entities. Collaborate with leadership and other departments on accounting-related initiatives. Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; advanced Excel skills (including formulas, filtering, data analysis, and financial functions) are highly preferred.
