Experience Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) and Inpatient DRG (IP DRG) Coding with strong focus on Inpatient cases. Core Competencies Strong knowledge of APR-DRG, MS-DRG, ICD-10 CM/PCS coding, clinical guidelines, disease processes, clinical indicators, and treatment protocols. Understanding of HACs, PSIs, and mortality models. Key Responsibilities Perform concurrent CDI reviews Final reviews DRG reconciliation DRG mismatch analysis Inpatient documentation reviews Raise compliant physician queries Tools & Certifications Experience with Epic CDI module and 3M 360 Certifications: CCS or CIC or CDIP Qualifications RN or Allied Health graduate with certifications such as PHRN, CCS, CCDS, CDIP, or CRCR 35 years CDI experience required Job Highlights Night shift WFH, competitive salary, allowances, and HMO benefits.
