Key Job Responsibilities Win the shift by ensuring that all aspects of the shift—product, equipment, and processes—adhere to world‑class standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. Ensure product quality, advising others on necessary formula and process adjustments to keep product runs within specification. Ensure cost efficiency by reducing waste, decreasing downtime, and overseeing appropriate staff scheduling. Utilize tablets and essential applications—SOMAX, Rever, Shift Guides, Intelex, and more—to keep processes running effectively. Education and Work History High School diploma or equivalent required. 2–5 years of experience in production, preferably in the food processing industry or fast‑paced manufacturing environment. A combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates competency to perform the work may be substituted. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to lead difficult conversations. Proficiency‑level computer skills, including MS Office applications; KRONOS knowledge is a plus. Strong organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects. Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
