Staff Accountant

South Shore Staffing

Norwood, MA

ssist in udit engagements , including:
- Preparing workpapers and financial statements
- Performing account reconciliations
- Testing internal controls
Support tax preparation , including:
- Individual and business tax returns
- Gathering and organizing client financial data
Conduct financial analysis and basic research on accounting issues
Work with senior accountants and managers on client engagements
Maintain compliance with GAAP and firm standards
Communicate with clients to request documents and clarify information

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in ccounting (Master's a plus)
CPA track (150 credits or working toward it)
Internship or relevant experience preferred but not required
Strong Excel skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: ~$65K-$75K (entry-level range)
