Blueport, Inc. is looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting who wants to build their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll gain hands‑on experience across multiple areas of accounting and finance while working alongside a supportive team that values your ideas and professional growth. Please note: This is an on‑site position based in our Walpole, MA office. Remote work is not available. What You'll Do Prepare and post recurring and non‑recurring journal entries in Sage 50 Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities Generate monthly financial reports for management Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis Manage daily cash reporting and assist with cash flow forecasting Participate in weekly finance meetings to review cash needs and financial performance Support financial analysis, reporting, special projects, and ad hoc requests Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Assist with administrative duties and other accounting projects as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred Experience with ERP systems; Sage 50 experience is a plus Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Why You'll Love Working Here At Blueport, we believe great people make great companies.
