*Job Description & Requirements* Emergency Medicine Physician StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Pay Rate: $266.75 - $288.75 This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: * Annual volume: 20,000 annual Emergency Department visits; approximately 50-70 patients per day * Physician shift times: 24 hours of physician coverage daily; primarily 12-hour shifts, including 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shifts. Main hospital may consider shifts shorter than 12 hours; affiliated Free Standing Emergency Departments require 12-hour shifts * NP/PA Coverage: Yes, Advanced Practice Provider coverage during peak times. * Back-up specialties available: Primary Stroke Center resources available * Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech P-doc with M-Modal Dictation * Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA), American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) *Job Benefits* AMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
