Strategic Account Manager

How You'll Make an Impact
* Lead, supervise and motivate a sales team to boost productivity and surpass monthly sales and billing quotas
* Coordinate recruiting, training and ongoing development of sales professionals into a high-performing unit
* Conduct weekly sales meetings and individual reviews to monitor activities and drive account maintenance and acquisition
* Attend sales calls alongside representatives to support customer engagement and strategy
* Provide weekly sales summaries and reports to inform leadership and refine sales approaches
* Assign high-priority customers and develop business with significant long-term potential
* Execute special projects and pursue opportunities for long-term business growth

Required Qualifications
Skills
* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
* Skilled at developing and executing strategic account plans customized for key prospects and customers
* Experienced in supervising teams and managing office procedures
* Ability to organize, implement and maintain sales goals
* Demonstrated history of leadership position/team lead in fast-paced environments requiring teamwork, flexibility, and change management
* Proven organizational development and business skills
* Conversant with technology and networking technologies
* Above-average business analysis skills using MS Office tools and Salesforce.com or similar CRM
* Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, primarily within area of responsibility
* Holds a valid and active state driver's license and maintains safe driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training, education and experience
Experience
* 5+ years enterprise-level account sales experience in the technology industry selling Ethernet, Cloud Services, High Speed Data, and Fiber Services, with a record of success managing assigned territory to achievement and over-achievement of quota
* 3+ years leadership experience in a competitive technology and cable sales environment with strong knowledge of Ethernet, Cloud Services, High Speed Data, Fiber Services and Fiber-Connected Networks

The base pay for this position generally is between $83,200.00 and $150,100.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $84,000 .
