Title: Manufacturing Technician - Coil Production
Location: Houston, TX 77041
Hourly Pay: $30 - $40 / Hour + Overtime

Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 2pm-midnight OR Monday-Friday 12pm-8:30pm

Founded in 1996, we employ roughly 75 people across our Houston operations, including approximately 60 employees at our Wright Road facility. We specialize in the engineering, manufacturing, and testing of precision industrial springs, custom coil products, and high performance components used across oil and gas, energy, heavy equipment, transportation, and industrial OEM markets. The Houston facility focuses on high volume coil production, CNC coiling, heat treatment, and quality critical forming processes that support demanding customer applications. For this Auto Coiler Technician position you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining automated coiling equipment to ensure consistent production output, quality, and machine performance.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate, set up, and adjust automated coiling machines to meet production specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements
• Perform routine machine inspections, tooling changes, and minor mechanical adjustments to maintain consistent coil quality and reduce downtime
• Monitor production output, measure coil dimensions, and document quality checks in accordance with internal standards and customer specifications
• Troubleshoot machine issues, escalate mechanical or electrical concerns, and support maintenance teams with corrective actions
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while contributing to continuous improvement efforts on the production floor

What You Need for This Position

• Experience operating automated coiling equipment, CNC Machinery or mechanical production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and production specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and basic troubleshooting
• Familiarity with quality checks, measurement tools, and documentation requirements in a production setting
• Willingness to train on day shift for 1 to 3 months, then transition to a 2:00pm to 12:00am Monday through Thursday schedule (or optional 12:00pm to 8:30pm shift)
