This travel MRI Tech job in Santa Fe, NM with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel MRI Tech contract at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. This role pays $2,121 per week and follows an Evenings shift with a 3x12 schedule. In this travel MRI Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe provides emergency, inpatient and surgical care for northern New Mexico. Its hospital services extend to maternity, behavioral health and rehabilitation. Hospital imaging includes CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and PET/CT, with CT, MRI and ultrasound available 24 hours a day for inpatients. Surgical care includes laparoscopic and robot-assisted procedures, offering minimally invasive approaches within the hospital's surgical program. The birthing unit uses labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum suites, allowing patients with normal deliveries to remain in one room through these stages of care. The adult inpatient behavioral health unit provides diagnostic evaluation, crisis stabilization, medication assessment and structured individual and group treatment. An outpatient heart and vascular department on the main hospital campus treats coronary artery disease, heart failure and rhythm disorders, with echocardiography and nuclear testing available.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients, visitors, and equipment for MRI safety, including implants and ferromagnetic objects
• Position patients and select the appropriate coils and imaging sequences for each study
• Administer gadolinium contrast when ordered, following facility protocol
• Obtain diagnostic-quality images, adjusting parameters to manage motion and artifacts, and provide completed studies to radiologists

Travel MRI Tech Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent MRI Tech experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by New Mexico and national regulatory bodies.
