Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our Dayton rehabilitation center, designed to support effective therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, leading to the creation of customized treatment plans that align with their individual health goals.
• Provide skilled and compassionate therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various treatment modalities to enhance recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure each individual achieves their optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and preventive strategies to foster a supportive home environment.
• Implement fall prevention protocols and safety measures within the assisted living community to minimize risks and enhance patient safety.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and delivering the highest level of care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on our geriatric patients, who often face unique challenges related to mobility, strength, and overall health as they age. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their rehabilitation journey, aiding in recovery from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A graduate from an accredited institution with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Possession of active State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated dedication to providing exceptional patient-centered care and promoting independence for the geriatric population.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in employing electronic medical records (EMRs) and familiarity with documentation systems pertinent to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, based on experience.
