Site HR Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced Site HR Business Partner to support a growing manufacturing operation in Houston, Texas. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role where you'll partner closely with plant leadership to build an engaged workforce, drive employee relations, and support operational excellence across a multi‑shift environment. This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being on the production floor, building strong relationships with employees and leaders, and making a measurable impact on the business. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR partner for site leadership and employees. Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and leadership coaching. Partner with operations leaders on workforce planning, staffing, retention, and employee engagement initiatives. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to understand workforce needs and build trust with employees. Support onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Manage HR processes including attendance, leaves of absence, accommodations, and personnel records. Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring for hourly, skilled trades, and salaried positions. Utilize HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or production environment. Strong employee relations experience, including workplace investigations and coaching leaders. Experience supporting hourly workforces and partnering closely with operations leadership. Knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC. Experience supporting multi‑shift operations is highly preferred. SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
