About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Digital Commerce and Customer Experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering the strategic vision for the digital commerce ecosystem, including eCommerce platforms, mobile applications, and omnichannel integrations. This role is pivotal in guiding the modernization of the digital and marketing technology stack to ensure it is scalable, secure, and built for personalization. The VP will also lead the integration of commerce, marketing, and loyalty platforms to enable data-driven engagement and differentiated customer experiences. A key focus is on advancing the organization as an AI-forward entity, evaluating and applying emerging technologies to enhance innovation and customer outcomes. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of leadership experience in digital commerce and marketing technology, particularly in omnichannel retail. The role requires a strong technical background in eCommerce platforms, cloud environments, APIs, and integration frameworks, as well as experience in agile, frontend and backend software engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale platform modernization and digital transformation initiatives, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include experience with composable or headless commerce architectures, AI-enabled environments, and a background in loyalty, membership, or reward platforms. Professional certifications and an interest in sustainability and ethical technology practices are also valued.
