Barrel One Collective is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team in Boston.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door in accounting or finance while gaining hands-on experience inside a fast-paced, growing craft beverage company. Whether you're a recent graduate, early in your career, or looking to transition into finance from another operational role, we're looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You'll work closely with our experienced Finance team while supporting multiple brands and business units across our organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with systems and numbers, and helping keep day-to-day financial operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices and assist with accounts payable functions


• Support vendor communication and respond to payment inquiries


• Assist with payment processing and financial recordkeeping


• Maintain accurate entries within accounting systems


• Help organize and track financial documentation and records


• Support inventory and invoice reconciliation processes


• Assist with monthly reporting and general accounting support


• Collaborate with the Finance team on administrative and operational projects


• Help maintain organized financial files and systems


• Provide additional accounting and finance support as needed

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines


• Comfortable working with technology and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally


• Prior accounting, finance, administrative, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
